About the Consortium
The Electric Vehicle Consortium (EVC) is a community of forward-thinking fleet leaders and data experts committed to better understanding the cost, usage and performance of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.
Mission
The problem with electric vehicle data at the moment and for the foreseeable future is that no one has enough of their own data to make informed decisions.
Vision
If the industry pools their data together, we will create a statistically reliable source of information that can help everyone make data-driven decisions.
The EVC Overview
The EVC was created based on the an ongoing challenge with EV data given that no single organization has enough of their own data to make informed commitments and decisions. As a community we are able to expand the volume of data and aggregate it in a single environment. This provides our members with a reliable source of information that can help inform them to make overall better EV transition decisions.
- How do maintenance costs and downtime hours differ between EVs and ICE vehicles?
- What is the average amount of time and miles between charges for my electric sedans and pickup trucks?
- What is the average cost in maintaining my electric sedans and pickup trucks?
